Even at its launch, the response to the iPhone 5 was subdued. Unlike to previous models, Apple was able to shine with the innovative power of the past, but had to handle criticism about anot working map service and a very fragile shell. Moreover, the innovations are not far enough for many users.

Although the display has grown from 3.5 "to 4" against the screens of the top models of the competition, which lie beyond the 4.5 " the current iPhone is still "puny". Conversely, the prices for the iPhone demands are still high.

This let the user feel the producers evidently clear. Because unlike to the previous models, there are few reports of the usual jubilation witnessed new sales records. Rather, the smartphone in the warehouse are so leaden that Apple now even reduced the order of components and slows production.

Is thus becoming clear that the manufacturer overslept the current trends and has been resting too much on its success to date: Smartphones are also enjoying the moment of a great popularity, Samsung sells the Galaxy S3 still gorgeous and manufacturer cheaper models, such as Huawei, reported rising paragraphs.

Millennata brought out M-Discs with a maximum of 4.7 GB of memory. The trick of optical media is that they are extremely durable: M discs can even handle the alternate immersion in boiling water and liquid nitrogen. For this reason, they are particularly well suited for long-term storage because they do not mind changing temperatures. Now Milleniata presents a new Blu-ray version with more memory.

The new M-Discs Blu-Rays should be available in the second quarter of 2013. You have up to 25 gigabytes and it can be read by any conventional Blu-Ray player. This is a tremendous step forward, because the M-Discs from the year 2011 were only playable on dedicated hardware. Moreover Millenniata has now a distribution partner "Imation", which will distribute the M-Discs under the brand TDK, Memorex and Imation. The production is taken by Ritek.

M-Discs get their data security, as they can only be described using a special laser and use inorganic material that resembles a stone. Here the data is actually "engraved".

It's not new to have hard drives in your notebook with a capacity of 1TB but those big mates are used to be slow with a speed of around 5400 RPM.

HGST (a part from Hitachi now changed to Western Digital) is creating it's first Hard Drive in the 2,5" format with a speed up to 7200 RPM.

The first model will be the Travelstar 7K1000, it's using a 6GB/s SATA-interface with a 16M big cache.

As it has been announced, we can be really happy about the prices as they are pretty low.

Originally the releasedate was set in March but according to rumors in the net, AMD's stock is too well filled to release another new graphic card yet.
